WORKSHOP: CREATING A CHECKLIST OR A GRADING RUBRIC

1. INTRODUCTION TO THE TASK
Your task in this workshop is to develop a checklist or a grading rubric in small groups. This checklist/grading rubric will have to serve for assessing the appropriateness of the teaching sequences which each and every group has prepared as the final task for module 2. Remember that you will have to present your teaching sequences orally on the following days:

Among the different checklists/grading rubrics the students of each seminar prepare, we will choose one to assess the presentation of the teaching sequences (with appropriate modifications if necessary).
The checklist/grading rubric must gather items related to the contents we have been working on throughout module 2. However, since you will have to do an oral presentation of your teaching sequences (using audio-visual support materials), the checklist/grading rubric will also have to refer to aspects related to oral and digital skills.
To make your checklist/grading rubric, you will make use of the resources the web 2.0. offers.
Since you will not be able to finish the task during this session, you will have to work together with your group mates collaboratively to have your checklist/grading rubric ready and upload it on our wiki within the next 4 days.
Before starting to make your checklist/grading rubric, we recommend that you have a look at other lists which, although developed for other purposes, may serve as models to pick up further ideas (see section on models). These model lists refer to both aspects of content and form.

2. OBJECTIVES
According to what has been said so far, the objective of this task is:
1. To develop a checklist/grading rubric in small groups that will allow to assess the adequacy of the teaching sequences which each and every group has prepared, integrating aspects related to both content and form.

3. EVALUATION CRITERIA
1. The extent to which the checklist/grading rubric can assess the adequacy of the didactic sequences including contents worked on throughout module 2.
2. The extent to which the checklist/grading rubric can assess the adequacy of the presentation of the didactic sequences, including oral and digital skills.
3. The use of the resources the web 2.0 offers to make the checklist/grading rubric.

Note: If the checklist/grading rubric task is not delivered in due time, we will not guarantee its revision.

4. INSTRUCTIONS

- Tools from the web 2.0 you are going to use to make your checklist/grading rubric
- Contents and organisation of your checklist/grading rubric contents in different axes
3. Start making your checklist/grading rubric
4. Keep working collaboratively until you finish the checklist/grading rubric
